Downtown Louisville Wedding | Claire and Haley

Claire and Haley’s December downtown Louisville wedding was truly a joy to be a part of as their photographer. I am so thrilled I got to be a part of their day— beginning with first looks at 800 Tower City Club, couples photos on the roof, and finally their ceremony and reception at Patrick O’Shea’s Whiskey Cellar on Main Street. Their vows (unbeknownst to them) both began with “You’re my best friend…” which I thought was a testament to how in sync they are and how much they are each other’s best friend through life.

I was immediately in awe of Claire’s wedding dress, which was customized to fit her elegant, vintage aesthetic by the women in her family. After their first look, Claire and Haley wanted some photos with their dog, Lemon, who was more than happy to pose with them for some fun family photos! We got lucky and the rain held off for our couples photos on the roof complete with rooftop firepit, where the Louisville skyline made an appearance. Once we made our way to O’Shea’s, Haley’s brother officiated the intimate ceremony. Guests left thumb prints on the couple’s family tree guestbook, drank beer, ate delicious food, cake and pies, and enjoyed the evening full of much dancing and merry making in the Whiskey Cellar!
