How to Derby 2019 | Derby Like a Local at Liquor Barn

The iconic Kentucky Mint Julep, Oaks Lily, bourbon, hats, bowties, and swag… that’s right, I photographed the event dedicated to How to Derby, or #DerbyLikeALocal, for the second year at Liquor Barn! Local bartenders served up cocktails at the bar, a bluegrass band played on the patio (a perfect venue for a band called the Porch Possums), vendors’ colorful Derby appropriate wares were on display, and attendees could get their 2019 Kentucky Derby Woodford Reserve bottles engraved and signed by master distiller Chris Morris.
