Intimate Louisville Handfasting Ceremony | Emi and Patrick
This intimate handfasting ceremony from this spring in Louisville was special for me to photograph, with my best friends getting married at a tucked away grotto.
Spring Peterson-Dumesnil House Wedding | Sandeepa and Eric
It was a gorgeous spring day for a Louisville wedding at the Peterson-Dumesnil House in Crescent Hill, where Sandeepa and Eric wed surrounded by friends and family! They had an outdoor ceremony, followed by lots of wedding photos with the flowering trees— one of my favorite things about being a Louisville photographer in spring is all the stunning blooms! Sandeepa’s family organized a few traditional Indian wedding games for the couple to play during their reception on the house’s expansive porch— “find the ring” (which Sandeepa won), and Eric was the winner in a game where he dumped the most rose petals on his new bride!
Both got ready at the Peterson-Dumesnil House, which has suites of rooms for both the bride and groom equipped with beautiful antique furniture and art. Sandeepa wore an intricately beaded dress from BHLDN which went perfectly with her vintage and classy style.

Duncan Memorial Chapel Elopement | Denise and David
When David and Denise first contacted me to be their Duncan Memorial Chapel wedding photographer, they were planning a very small Kentucky spring wedding. When I arrived at Duncan Memorial, I discovered their wedding had become an elopement! It was my first time witnessing one of the weddings I was there to photograph (the other witness was one of the musicians)!
It was a gorgeous day for a wedding, with all the wild violets in bloom around the chapel. Denise wore a dress she found on Amazon, and she and David had a short ceremony in the chapel, lit a unity candle, and did a couples session on the chapel grounds. Then they had a short and sweet “cutting of the cake”— which had fun runner-themed decorations since they’re both runners!
